The Ampac Five Stage Reverse Osmosis drinking water system is equipped with a Permeate Pump and a high capacity 36 or 50 gallon per day membrane designed for large homes, large family, high usage. This system can feed more than one faucet. The Ampac™ Five Stage features a TFC membrane and is offered with an optional ultraviolet light to keep your water sanitary at all times. The Permeate pump does not use any electricity, and it is capable of improving the recovery rate by as much as 400% under normal use, while reducing waste water by as much as 80%. The Permeate pump increases the net pressure across the R.O. membrane by isolating the membrane pressure from the pressure in the product water tank thereby reducing the permeate back pressure to less than 5 PSI.
